Italian police say two people were hurt in the ultrlight plane crash after the bridal bouquet they launched got caught in the aircraft's rear rotor.

The flowers blocked the engine, bringing the plane down by a youth hostel near Piombino.

Police said the pilot was slightly injured and the bouquet thrower suffered broken bones.

The "honeymoon" was a working holiday campaigning for "Drop the Debt" and they celebrated after the ceremony by taking Barton's granddaughter to play in the local park.
